An approach is proposed to determine the magnification coefficient of radiation load and test guidelines, allowing to reduce their persistence in providing preset probability rates of test outcome integrity as a whole. Here the prior information on statistical properties of random factors of the process is pivotal. It is demonstrated that consideration of radiation sensitivity range of products together with dosimetry imprecision input and other factors leads to a decrease of the required rate of overexposure per value from 20% to a number of times.

Keywords: test guideline, magnification coefficient of radiation load.

The dependencies of imprecision evaluation of constant exponential radiation and transfer characteristic for analog parameters of a product are calculated by value of effective duration of response on ARSA unit bremsstrahlung pulse for two distinguishing forms of this pulse. The domain of effective response duration, where these values are different from the constant exponential radiation and transfer characteristic by less than 3 and 5 %, is determined.

Keywords: evaluation of transfer characteristic of a product, effective response duration of a product, analog parameters of a tested product, bremsstrahlung pulses, ARSA unit.

The article offers a method of evaluation of transfer characteristic of metrology systems within a sensor, measuring line and recorder (oscillograph), used when assessing form and effective duration of ionizing radiation pulses of simulation facilities. The evaluation of the transfer characteristic of metrology systems is necessary for choosing optimal sensors and recorders of said systems, and estimating the possibility of their application within dosimetry maintenance of radiation tests of electronic equipment products.

Keywords: evaluation of radiation and transfer characteristic of metrology system, band pass of metrology system, effective duration of ionizing radiation pulses, transfer characteristic by analog parameters of products under the test.

A design process of additional radiation shielding of the geostationary spacecraft science equipment is reviewed. The additional radiation shielding is necessary to adapt a geostationary spacecraft to the radiation environment in Molniya-type orbits. The solution to this problem implies several preliminary stages: the determination of the radiation environment on the flight orbit, the estimate of the total ionizing dose in the equipment locations, the estimate of the total ionizing dose directly in the electronic component base and the analysis of its radiation tolerance. The article describes a radiation shielding design method implemented in the Siemens NX system. The method uses the values of equipment and electronic components radiation tolerance, and calculated values of the total ionizing dose in this equipment or electronic components.

Keywords: radiation tolerance, radiation shielding, universal satellite bus, total ionizing dose.

Radiation environment on the mission trajectory and onboard of prospective spacecraft for research of three asteroids of main belt is examined. Calculations of the differential energy spectra of charged particle fluеnces on the flight trajectory, as well as local absorbed doses at the locations of the spacecraft onboard equipment, were carried out, on the basis of which recommendations were made for the radiation hardness of electronic components to the dose effect.

Keywords: radiation environment onboard of spacecraft, main asteroid belt, electric propulsion system.

The results of a calculated analysis of radiation parameters study in PRIZ-M reactor test volume, and the implementation algorithm of test technology of large-sized objects for radiation hardness, based on object’s movement against a radiation source, and subsequent irradiation from two opposite sides are highlighted. It’s shown that against the unilateral irradiation without object moving the sizes of test volume with distortion tolerance of radiation parameters increase by several times.

Keywords: test technology, research reactor, radiation hardness, neutron fluence, exposure gamma-radiation dose, test volume, bilateral irradiation of an object.
