EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION OF DEPENDENCE OF THE THYRISTOR EFFECT EXCITATION LEVEL IN THE IC 14854 ON IONIZING RADIATION PULSE SHAPE

Methods of estimation of dependence of threshold malfunctions on the ionizing radiation pulse shape were developed. As a result of determination of the thyristor effect excitation level in the IC 14854 on exposure to radiation pulses of the accelerators RIUS-5 and UIN-10 an estimation of the effective relaxation time for the thyristor effect excitation process was performed.

EXPERIMENTAL ESTIMATION OF IMPACT OF THE LEAD-ALUMINUM CONTAINER ON PHOTON RADIATION IONIZING CAPACITY BY TESTS ON THE ACCELERATOR RIUS-5

Experimental estimation of relative efficiency of the accelerator RIUS-5 photon radiation by tests of IC 558411 and diodes 2103 with use of a double-layer shielding container Pb-Al (~ 2 mm Pb and ~ 0,8 mm Al) and without it was performed. Preliminary estimations of dependence of efficiency of this installation radiation on relative positions of the testing products and detectors -7, as well as anisotropy sensitivity of these detectors were obtained.

EXPERIMENTAL ESTIMATION OF DEPENDENCE OF MALFUNCTION-FREE OPERATION LEVEL OF RADIO DEVICES ON THE IONIZING RADIATION PULSE SHAPE BY FIXED VALUE OF THE PULSE EFFECTIVE DURATION

A breadboard model making possible to model the ionizing radiation pulse with wide range varying of the pulse shape by fixed value of the pulse effective duration was made. It was shown experimentally that the malfunction-free operation level of the device on exposure to radiation can significantly vary by change of the pulse shape with fixed value of the pulse effective duration.

ESTIMATION OF MINIMAL VALUES OF THRESHOLD MALFUNCTION AND FAILURE LEVELS OF ELECTRONIC DEVICES EXPOSED TO THE PULSED IONIZING RADIATIONS BY RESULTS OF TESTS ON THE MODELING DEVICES

Relations for calculation of estimations of the minimal values of threshold malfunction and failure levels of electronic devices by exposing to the pulsed ionizing radiation in units of dose rate and pulse dos were justified.

INTERRELATIONS OF CALIBRATION COEFFICIENT, RADIATION RELATIVE EFFICIENCY COEFFICIENT AND SHAPE COEFFICIENT FOR TWO DIFFERENT MODELING DEVICES OF PULSED IONIZING RADIATION

Interrelation and physical significance of the calibration coefficient, relative efficiency coefficient and shape coefficient used for reaching unity and correlation of the electronic device radiation test results on various modeling installations is considered. The methods of experimental determination of these coefficients are proposed.

EXPERIMENTAL ESTIMATION OF PHOTON RADIATION RELATIVE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE INSTALLATIONS LIU-10 AND RIUS-5

On results of determination of p-i-n-diode flowerbed integral responses to pulses of the installations LIU-10 and RIUS-5 an estimation of the photon radiation relative effectiveness was determined for these installations. The obtained assessment characterizes relative ionization ability of the installations involved and does not depend on the shape of their pulses.

INVESTIGATIONS OF DEPENDENCE OF THE IC CURRENT CONSUMPTION PEAK VALUES BY THE ACTION OF THE PULSED IONIZING RADIATIONS UPON SUPPLY VOLTAGE AND LOAD RESISTANCE

A relationship of the 558411 IC current consumption peak values upon supply voltage and load resistance was studied experimentally. Dynamic voltage-current characteristics of this IC were measured and their dependence on the load resistance value in the measuring circuit was demonstrated. A necessity of the further investigations to improve technique of the remote measurements on exposure to the ionizing radiation with effective duration about 10 ns was shown.

PECULIARITIES OF THE OPERATION OF ANTENNA FILTERS IN THE FIELDS OF IONIZING AND ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATIONS.

Results of tests of an antenna filter on pulsed gamma radiation and electrical pulse, simulating an action of the electrical field, are presented. Analysis of the obtained results and estimation of value of pulsed inducing on the capacitor 15-1 are given.

INVESTIGATIONS ON THE PULSED X-RAY UNIT MIRA-5B PULSE FORM

Investigations on the pulsed X-ray unit MIRA-5B pulse parameters distorted with inertial properties of measuring channels are performed. The measuring channels with detectors 1, detectors based on 2523 diodes and with diamond sensors are used. Cable transfer lines type 75-9-13 with length 10 m and 75-4-15 with length 8 12 m were applied. As digital recorders oscilloscopes LeCroy 6100 with frequency limit 1 GHz and TDS3054 with frequency limit 500 MHz are used. Pulse duration of the reconstructed main pulse is estimated at 1.3 ns.
